Tame Impala – Deadbeat Tour 2026

19, 20 & 21 October 2026 | Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Olympic Park

Three nights to disappear into.

Tame Impala returns to Sydney this October for three nights at Qudos Bank Arena, joined by Ninajirachi and touring in support of Deadbeat, Kevin Parker’s fifth studio album. It is a record that shifts the project into a darker, looser, more nocturnal space, led by singles including Loser, End of Summer and Dracula, the last of which landed at No. 3 in triple j’s Hottest 100. Tame Impala live has always been more than the songs alone. It is the lights, the haze, the feeling of a room moving at the same speed, and that strange way time seems to go slightly off its axis for a while.

Why stay at Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport

Tame Impala has a way of turning a weeknight into something that feels much later, longer and harder to switch off from. The music does not really invite a rushed exit or a hard reset straight after. It lingers.

Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport gives the night a softer landing. Head out after a proper meal, come back to one of the hotel’s refurbished, modern rooms, and let the rest of the evening slow down instead of ending all at once. Biggles Bar & Grill works well before the show, 24-hour in-room dining covers whatever appetite turns up afterwards, and Sirocco makes breakfast easy the next morning.

Getting from Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport to Qudos Bank Arena

  • By rail through Olympic Park: Leave from Mascot Station, travel toward Lidcombe, then move across to the Olympic Park service for the final stretch into the precinct. It is the usual public transport route for Qudos Bank Arena and a reliable option when arena crowds are building.
  • By car service, taxi or rideshare: Cars can be arranged from the hotel entrance, with the drive to Qudos Bank Arena generally taking around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic and when you leave. If you want the cleanest run from hotel to venue, this is often the simpler choice.
  • Driving: Parking is available throughout Sydney Olympic Park. With three Sydney dates on the tour, it is worth looking at parking options ahead of time if you plan to drive, especially for the Wednesday show that was added after strong demand.

Stay near the sound of it

Some gigs ask for more than a ticket. Tame Impala tends to be one of them. Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport gives the night a better place to start, and a better place to come back to once the room stops spinning.
