Darling Harbour

Dining, Entertainment and the City at Its Most Lively

Darling Harbour has always known how to draw a crowd and with good reason. Stretching along the western edge of the CBD, it is one of Sydney’s most animated waterfront precincts, a broad mix of restaurants, bars, museums, family attractions and entertainment venues set against the backdrop of the harbour and the city skyline. The Australian National Maritime Museum, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussauds all call it home, alongside some of the city’s most popular dining addresses and the sprawling ICC Sydney convention precinct.

On a warm Sydney evening, Darling Harbour is one of the city’s great places to simply be, the water catching the last of the light, the city humming behind you, and enough restaurants and bars within a short walk to make any decision feel like the right one.

For leisure travellers based at Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, it is an easy and rewarding destination. Mascot Station is five minutes from the hotel on foot, Central is two stops away, and from there Darling Harbour is a short light rail ride or a pleasant walk through the city. For families, it offers a full day’s worth of activity. For those visiting for dining and the waterfront atmosphere, an evening here is one of Sydney’s most reliable pleasures.
